The Whitaker Group is excited to announce the opening of APB Charlotte at The Collective on Tuckaseegee, an innovative retail and cultural hub designed to uplift Charlotte's West Side. Located in Enderly Park, this 13,000-square-foot space features ten unique units, including the debut of APB Charlotte. This dynamic destination will serve as a creative sanctuary for skaters, streetwear enthusiasts, and cultural innovators, while bringing new energy to the neighborhood.
Also home to the APB Skatepark, the first privately owned, Black-owned, publicly accessible non-DIY skatepark in the U.S., this addition reflects APB’s deep commitment to skate culture and its role in supporting.
Opening on November 14th, APB Charlotte will offer an immersive experience that blends skateboarding, streetwear, and culture. The space will introduce an exclusive skate specialist, providing expert guidance on gear, equipment, and skate lifestyle. Visitors will also have the opportunity to customize their skateboards on-site with the “purchase & build” service, offering a personalized, hands-on experience.

The grand opening kicks off an exciting month of programming through APBYou, focused on empowering and educating local neighborhoods. Highlights include a car show by Paid N Full Car Club, a local vendor market, wellness programming tailored for skaters, women and girls skate sessions, quad socials, kids' skate lessons, and more. Visitors can also enjoy photo walks and artist talks at the 38a Gallery, dedicated to uplifting Black, Brown, and minority creators in the area.
